April showers bring May flowers….. that’s all sweet and dandy, but I wish these 40 degree temps would just go away.  I hate being cold all the time!  To take my mind off all the cold and gloom, here’s some things I found in April.

Definite oldies, but extreme goodies!  I think I’ve mentioned numerous times that I love old books.  As convenient as the kindle and the e-readers are, I could never part with my old books!  I found these in Madison at Paul’s Books.  Currently reading the short stories by W. Somerset Maugham, which is amazing by the way.  Just makes me wonder how I didn’t discover these earlier.

I’m really liking the floral and the tribal trend especially on bottoms, but the graphic art on these shorts is really fun and eye catching too.  From Urban Outfitters.

I’m usually a body shampoo girl, because soap tends to dry out my skin, but the smell of this Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap was so refreshing and clean smelling, I couldn’t put it down!  Just the smell I would envision out in the sea.  And well the tubes of hand lotion was so nostalgic and pretty I had to get these too at a local soap factory/perfumerie in Madison.

I wish the weather would hurry and warm up so I can wear pretty, fluttery, chiffon-ey, hi-lo skirts like these without freezing.
